C'est le temps de notre réunion mensuelle! It's time for our LCA monthly meeting! Every month the Lowertown Community Association meets at Centre Routhier, 172 Guigues av. All residents are welcome to the meeting to discuss life in Lowertown, catch up with old friends and make new ones! Tous les résidents sont invités à participer aux réunions mensuelle de l'Association Communautaire de la Basse-Ville afin de discuter de la Basse-Ville et faire des rencontres avec ses résidents!  Voici l'ordre du jour ci-dessous. Lowertown residents living near MacDonald Gardens and Bordeleau Parks participated in the Cleanup the Capital initiative last weekend.

At Bordeleau Park:
Over 50 volunteers of all ages showed up to help pickup winter debris and cleanup the kids playground and soccer field. Pizza and coffee was had courtesy of Sandra Milton and a big thanks to everyone who showed up.

At MacDonald Gardens Park:
Macdonald Garden's Park clean up happened on Saturday, April 29. Twenty volunteers swept the stairs, raked the leaves, and walked the perimeter finding lost and left belongings that had collected over the winter as well as general refuse. The youngest participant was Ben, age 4.  The most unusual find was a trundle bed frame. 
Tim Horton's Donuts were enjoyed by many including one ambitious dog who took advantage of the open box.
