![]() The Lowertown Community Association (LCA) and Lowertown Community Resource Centre (LCRC) have heard from a number of residents who are interested in developing a community garden somewhere in Lowertown on the west side of King Edward Avenue, similar to Angel Square Community Garden, which is located in front of 40 Cobourg Street in Lowertown East and is supported by the LCRC. To help get a project underway, the LCA and LCRC are hosting a community meeting on Thursday, April 16, from 6:30 to 8 pm, at Routhier Community Centre. The purpose of the meeting is to hear how the LCRC helped residents to develop the Angel Square community garden and to get interested community members together to form a garden committee. All are welcome! No gardening experience is needed to participate in this project. Please send any questions to [email protected]. |
