Meetings

Meetings of the King Edward Avenue Task Force began in 1986 and continued regularly up until 2002. After this point, the King Edward Avenue Task Force folded itself back into the Lowertown West Community Association. The group was reactivated following a protest held by the community on King Edward Avenue in 2007. The group initially reformed to organize the successful King Edward community forum held in May of 2007. Since then, the task force has been meeting on a monthly basis to promote and lobby for the implementation of the recommendations presented to the community at the forum.
