ByWard Market Core Team
The ByWard Market Core Team provides a wide-ranging perspective to help address the ongoing issues that affect the ByWard Market, and functions as a sounding board as it helps to chart the Market's future. The Core Team is tasked to champion the "raison d'etre" of the Byward Market, influence policy in a way that supports the Market Vision and Mission (see Byward Market Business Plan) and identify emerging trends and issues.
The Core Team is composed of Mathieu Fleury (local City Councillor) and appointed representatives from the City of Ottawa Market Management, local resident's association, Byward Market business improvement area (BIA), Byward Market Standholders Association (BMSA), the BIA Safety and Security Committee and a consumer at large.
